Thanks to the Cdn Cancer Society Relay For Life team, The Super Heroes, there will be a private viewing of this delectable movie at the Mayfair Theatre in Old Ottawa South. It is always a fun time - with sweet treats, good friends and a classic movie - what could be better!?

…Valentine’s Day. A time for telling those we care for how much they mean to us, sharing extra hugs, kisses and a little Red Velvet cake.
With a little help from my ’special someone’, we made red velvet cupcakes with buttercream icing. R’s special friend Caitlin came over and they enjoyed a little snack together! A few crumbs, red tongues and red-stained lips later they both had their sugar fix!

Three Girls Turning Three, One Word = Triplets!
Each girl had a ‘favourite’. A favourite Winnie, a favourite Ladybug, a favourite Panda. Each ‘favourite’ came true with this forest of creatures. I wanted to keep all the cakes similar in design to avoid any sibling rivalry.

The perfect addition to a ‘Winnie The Pooh’ themed baby shower.
Yummy vanilla cupcakes with lemon infused buttercream icing. Winnie’s were made out of vanilla fondant. I made one extra for my two-year-old and I think he was in heaven.
Nothing says Women like a little ‘Sex And The City’ and cupcakes.
Made especially and donated to help raise money for Canadian Cancer Society at a special screening of ‘Sex And The City’, these cupcakes will put a smile on your face and are completely guilt-free. You will feel good knowing where your money is going.

My son turned *2* this year and has a l-o-v-e of all things Elmo.
What a better sweet treat to share with his friends than personal Elmo cupcakes! I think they liked them, well at least the icing. It was the first thing to get licked off! A boy after my own heart.
Every little girl wants to be a Princess….
This little darling is no exception! I did get a special message from her Mom, “Make sure she knows I like pink AND purple!” Request fulfilled. Especially with the pink buttercream filling and purple sparkly tiara! How fun! Now, let’s hope she finds her ‘Prince’ one day!
A modern couple, a modern cake.
When given creative license on the design of a cake, it is a Designer’s dream. These friends of ours are a super modern, creative pair. I based the design of their cake on one of my favourite textile designers, Amy Butler’s, ‘Midwest Modern’ pattern called ‘Martini’. I thought the colours would also compliment their purple colour scheme.
The reception was held at a swanky venue overlooking the Rideau Canal, the night and the Bride and Groom were so beautiful. And the cake fit right in!
